Thanks, but unfortunately I’m having problems doing these steps in Access2000. When I select File | Get External Data | Import and select the file and press the IMPORT button, I get an error message ‘DUPLICATE ACCOUNTS DATABASE can’t find the field ‘CurrentDb’ that is referred to in your expression.

I have no idea why I’m getting this message, but it’s keeping me from getting to my Import Specifications.

you want, then select the Import button. On the dialog box that comes up next, there is an Advanced button. Select that, and it will give you a chance to open an Import Spec.
