Another limitation of the Indirect function…
If the reference is in an external workbook, the workbook must be open or Indirect will return #REF.

I just tested this with an on-line KB search using the ‘Specific article ID number’ option. First time = no hits. Then I realized that I had Excel selected in the ‘My search is about:’ box. Changed that to ‘All Products’ and it returned the article w/o incident. TomG is right about making sure you have no product selected when looking up a specific article number — I guess you never know how they may have catorgized it.

I’ve seen this behavior when the ‘network’ becomes sluggish. If you’re ‘failing’ users have a slower network connection, this could be a problem. See if they can copy the file to their local harddrive and then try to open it from there.
