      It’s not the size of the tank that matters, but the size of the connection supplying the hose. 18 minutes is the theoretical maximum. If the big hose already meets the maximum capacity of the ‘supply’, then the answer would be 30 minutes…because running both hoses wouldn’t make the supply any faster.

      Actually, you won’t fine penny, nickle, dime on the coins in the US. It’s one cent, 5 cents, 10 cents (and quarter dollar), so the quarter is the only one with it’s ‘name’ on it.

      1.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999……………………………………….

      And here’s the proof:

      x=.999999999………….
      therefore 10x=9.999999999999999999999999……….
      subtract the equations:
      9x=9
      divide by 9 on both sides
      x=1
      Therefore, 1=.9999999999999…………….
      thus 1+1=1.9999999999999999999999……..

      Which presents at least one more ‘trick’ answer, which would be a doughnut and coffee

    • in reply to: Upload Files from Client to ASP Server #859374

      I am attaching a zip file with two files. TestUpload.htm, has a Browse and Submit button (along with a link that won’t work…), and the upload.asp page. I did not write the upload.asp page, though I did modify bits and peices in all sorts of applications.

      It should work just fine, though I will warn you that it will get VERY sluggish when you start dealing with larger files (10 meg +)

    • in reply to: Form resizing (2000) #857076

      I second Hans’ opinion on the matter. I’ve seen a lot of databases that maximize everything. Not only do the forms get disformed at different resolutions, but I’ve seen a few where they set the forms to take up the whole screen, which is extremely cumbersome.

      Okay, use this on the Open event.

      Me.title.DefaultValue = “””” & Forms(“Main Form”).title.Value & “”””

      Just a side note. You have a filter set. Is this for data entry, or for data reveiwing? If it is for data entry, I would not use a filter, but instead, set the DataEntry property to true.
