Hello @all

I have the same problem when i try to update or (i’ve already uninstalled it) to install Java – nothing happens.

I start the installation, have to confirm the UAC-Question and … nothing. At this moment you can also see a process with ProcessExplorer .. but this ends suddenly after some seconds – without any feedback.

I’ve played already with the compatibility settings (Vista/xp) – but it did not help.
The problem does not solve when i start Windows in safe mode.

Any ideas/suggestions?

PS: As developer i had already installed the Java sdk; maybe this is related somehow??!
