      Thanks for answering.

I’ve tried the WSdrcard and the site says “User does not exist. Would you like to create an account?”

I get the same message with using my email address I signed up with and which I receive the news letter to.

The site does not recognize my ID or email address.  What now?

When I put my email address in the site does not recognize my email address.  The site also does not recognize my user ID but, when I try to set up an account, it says my user ID is already in use.

I don’t understand how my users ID is not recognized and already in use?  I need help with my account so I can login at Gravatar.

Just a little warning about restoring an image backed up using Windows 7/10 image backup.

It restores exactly as it was, which included drive size.  If such an image is restored to a larger HDD, Disk manager will only show the size of the old HDD.  You will need to use the Extend Volume wizard in Disk management to have Windows recognize the new space.

      You can try this:

Create a shortcut on the Desktop to that specific scheduled task.  Then change the settings in that shortcut to Run as Administrator.

To create shortcut to specific scheduled task:

Create shortcut and in Target box on the Shortcut tab enter:

      C:\Windows\System32\schtask.exe_\run_/tn_”NAME”

Replace the underscore (_) with a space and replace NAME with the name of the scheduled task.

Click the Advanced button at the bottom of that Shortcut tab and check Run as Administrator.

This gives administrative authority before the task is started.  If this works, then create a scheduled task to run this shortcut.

I would like to set up at the Gravatar site, but the doesn’t recognize my email address.  I started to create an account at the Gravatar site, but it says my user name is already in use.

What do I do now.  If it doesn’t recognize my email address, how will it associate my picture with my account?  How does it have my user ID and not my email address.

      Please help.

    • I do not know how to surpass the 255 character limit in the Find box, but you can surpass the 255 character limit in the Replace box.  The replace code ^c will replace the text found with the contents of the clipboard.  The clipboard has no 255 character limit.  In fact, you can use this code to replace text with an image.

      Hi All,

I started programing computers 56 years ago with paper tape and direct binary 4 bit coding.  I have progressed thru many languages and OSs.  My primary occupation was medical laboratory testing and computer software to blend the two fields.  I am now retired.  I have numerous articles published thru Neat Net Tricks publications by Jack Teems, but that publication is retired now.  I contribute to the forum sponsored by that site.  I am looking to branch out and will be happy to share what little expertise I have.   As an example of my writings, I offer this booklet that I wrote for iPhone users; which is in PDF format.
