I too have had this occur in the past. I went through everything, checking schedulers, live updates etc. Did through scan for trojans and such like that might be trying to send info out. Ran OptOut to make sure had nothing left by any web adds. Even deleted trusted cookies in case they were doing something. Although the problem stopped I can’t say for sure what if any of the above did it. Unfortunately it did it again the other day but only the once.

I too have installed ZoneAlarm and found that it is all good. Not only does it protect against intrusions from the outsid it allows you to control what applications send data out. A highly recomended piece of software.
