I had a similar issue and couldn’t find Google as the search engine option. Then I went to google.com and there was a popup that offered to make it the search engine and also the default. Problem solved for me, maybe it works for you too.

    • I would look for a new network card device driver or a non-Microsoft version to try.

It could be either a timing issue in that I think the default for checking messages with IMAP is 30 minutes. Or an IMAP folder subscription issue, make sure you have subscribed to the sub folder.

The name on the calendar tab is associated with the account name.
to change that go to File, Account Settings, Account settings, highlight the account in the email tab and select Change. Then click More Settings and change the name on the General tab. Click Ok and finish the wizard.

    • in reply to: Macro to attach all zip files #1522498

      Howard,

It should not matter on the format. As long as the extension is .zip (all small), it should attach it. I am suspecting that the file is actually named Book6.zip.txt and not a zipped file at all.

I think Maudibe is correct as the icon pictured with the file book6.zip shows it as a text file.

    • If it is Outlook.com, you can push the refresh arrow next to the folders button to see if that updates instead of opening a new tab

When you have one of these messages, pop it out of the reading pane and see if the title bar says the message is formatted as HTML, Rich Text or Plain Text and report back.

Also check your default printer and advise.

    • in reply to: Problems in Outlook mail navigation pane #1522490

I’d recommend you add a new Outlook profile with just the Yahoo account and then if it works. Go back into the original profile and export the sent folder to a PST. Add the exported PST to the new profile as a data file and then you could drag them into the Yahoo sent folder.

Start by going to the Mail Control Panel, click on Show Profiles and add a new profile with a different name and check the box to prompt for profile to be used.
If the Outlook navigation pane and Yahoo are working fine, then exit Outlook and log into the original profile.
click on File, open and export, import/export. select export to a file, choose PST, pick the Sent folder and follow the prompts.
let me know if you need help connecting the PST.
      Regards
