      Hi Hans,

Thank you for your prompt response on it.

This VBA looks complicated to me. Can you write me a sample macro that will create a list on a new sheet, not on the original sheet?

      Hi Stuart,

After reading your reply, I knew there must be something wrong in my PC. I open the case and found the CPU cooling fan was not installed properly. One of the four fixture legs of cooling fan was not inserted into the mobo. Yes, it was my mistake.

CPU temperature went down to 22C on idling. It seems fine now. Thank you for your help.

      Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your comprehensive answer on my question.

Since I am still in the stone-aged Ghost concept, I am not sure on the recovering procedure handled by Acronis True Image V 10.

If I use the image file method and store the image file in an external USB 2.0 removable drive (flash drive or hard drive), what the recovering procedure is when the hard drive of notebook dies while I am on the road?

      Hi Argus,

You asked me to look at the root of my profile and look at the top-folder in my profle. Can you point me where my profile is?

      Thanks,

      Hi Bigaldoc,

      I understand your points.

I did have external 3.5″ USB hard drives as the backup for my notebook when I traveled oversea. Unfortunately, two hard drives have walked to the grave in a row in 12months. It throws me the question of how to backup my files when I am on the road safely. It was the reason I was thinking to use the online storage as the 2nd backup plan in case of disaster happens to my notebook and USB hard drive at the same time.

May be sending a CD copy of all the files back home every other day by snail mail is the only solution.

It seems that the online storage is not a proper way to do the daily back up for the large file. Even if I upgrade to the 768Kbps package, it still take hours in backing up the PST file.

If I change the SSID name, disable the SSID broadcasting and assign a WPA-Personal TKIP Shared Key , what will happen when the guest try to access the internet from his or hers notebook? Should I give the guess the SSID and WPA Shared Key?

      Thanks for your help.

I have bought a Linksys WRT54G for setting up the wireless access for the guests in the house. The signal strength is strong enough.

The next step is set up the security for the wireless network. There are so many choices in the security set up. The following are the list of the choice:

      Disable, WEP, WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal, WPA-Enterprise, WPA2-Enterprise, or RADIUS

All I need is the password or key for the guest to access the wireless network. Which one of above should I use?

I have already changed the Administrator password. But, the SSID name is still remain default.

      Hi Bill,

Since the guest notebook is far away from the wired router, it seems that wireless access is the only choice for the owner to offer.

You mentioned the wireless router also include wired ports as well. Does it mean that the wired network can get the full 10/100 speed from this wireless router?

      Hi Chris,

It seems Wireless Access Point (WAP) is exactly what the home owner needs for this guest.

      Thanks!

      Leif,

Thanks! Yes, I can use Windows Media to see the total playing time by adding folder to the library one at a time. It is very time consuming when there are many folders and files. However, if there are no other faster ways, I will use it.

      Asimpkins,

      Thanks for your reply.

I did use the same method as yours to resize the pictures before. It did not work. After reviewing your suggestion, I tried it again. It worked!

I found I needed to save the email to have the resize to be effective. It is the only trick in this issue.
