The current (June 7) issue of Woody’s Office for Mere Mortals #2.10 also addresses printing problems of this type.

Came across an archive with the following. Not sure if it’ll be of any help though:

WWINTL32.DLL should be located in the same directory as WINWORD.EXE; for Word 97, this might be
      “Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice”.

A google search brought up this:
      rmdr.iq Not Found
Cause: Error is caused by some HP OfficeJet drivers, known to occur with the OfficeJet 600.
Removing and re-installing the HP drivers (Add/Remove in Control Panel) should fix it.

Several other entries also referred to HP problems as the cause.

Thanks for your response, Ed. My question wasn’t clear enough, though. I was aware of the Save As command, but because about 2000 email messages are involved, I was looking for some kind of shortcut global move.

That’s right! And for the life of me, given all the AOL knocking all over the Web, I don’t understand why so many millions subscribe to the monster. In my rural corner of the eastern USA, AOL hasn’t seen fit to provide a local access number. Mindspring/Earthlink has for years, and they charge to credit cards, not phone bills. The ISP isn’t perfect, but which one is? And it’s been responsive to my few problems. Sorry. Forgot this was the Windows ME forum.

Depending on how long the problem has existed, try
System Restore. Also, an obvious but sometimes overlooked suggestion: check all cable and power connections.

GDI refers to your video card or its software drivers. GDI.exe errors are usually related to your video card but can occur with any other bad device driver.

One step is to upgrade your video drivers. If the problem persists, try upgrading other drivers (soundcard, other devices).

Thanks much for your help! Just what I needed.

    • in reply to: Theme Banners #510877

I had somewhat similar problems when I moved my FP2000 pages to a new computer–the banners, borders, and theme background had disappeared, and attempting to recreate them led to nothing. After some time-consuming digging, I found that the hidden files were not being shown. I hadn’t yet changed the setting to “show all hidden files.” Once I did that, everything, much to my relief, was back.
