I should have noted in my post that I found this site via a Dell chat room and that some of the items are unique to Dell.

The following site lists programs related to startup resources and categorizes them according to needs, i.e., must have, can delete, may or may not delete:

What I was referring to is the System Restore tool in Windows ME: go to Programs–>Accessories–>System Tools–>System Restore. This tool allows you to automatically restore settings to a time (within limits) prior to when the problem started showing up. I’ve used it several times when my registry developed problems, usually after adding/deleting some software problems, and it cleared up the problem. Again, you need to have an idea of when the problem started appearing and then pick a date/time prior to then.

      Is System Restore a possibility?

July 17, 2001 at 6:13 pm in reply to: controlling scroll speeds when selecting text (Word 97) #1786078

Select first word in text, move cursor to end of text, hold down Shift, left click. All of the text between should then be selected.

There’s probably an easier way, but copy and paste the email to a Word doc and then printing would be one way.

If you have a wheel mouse, Tweak UI has a setting to control the number of lines scrolled.
