As I understand it, SQL is NOT installed on the server but on the workstations.

Any other views?

I am thinking of using WHS instead of Windows SBS 2003. The main reason for using a cient/server sysytem is that the accounting system uses SQL and will not (according to the software house) run on a peer to peer network.

Will WHS handle programs running under SQL?

It’s all very well having a powerful backup built into WHS, but I still have to have an insurance requirement to make external backups.

Has anyone published a program that will backup the server to an external drive.
