Hi Ted – yes, this will work, but I was attempting to give the user the same function that she was using. Otherwise, she can use the Print link within the report. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks Joe – I’ll take a look at this. Not sure though if we would want all balloon tips disabled. Regardless, thanks for your input!

Hi Paul – I don’t believe so. Our drives are mapped by the login script. Now, on my PC I do have some manual mappings, but the bulk of the pop up notifications are on those user’s PC who map from the login script.

Hi Chuck – it definitely is a timing issue. It’s not consistent either. We’re just trying to figure out a way to hidedisable the pop up notification. It’s probably buried in the registry somewhere.

Hi Bob – my setting was originally set for Prompt, I changed it to Enable, saved and closed IE. Re-opened and got the same Security Information box. The current site I’m visiting is lexis.com, which is a legal research site. That site is currently in my trusted site list too.

      Just came across your post.

If you are using IE7, you can enable the Content Advisor located in Tools, Internet Options. After this is enabled, you can build your “trusted list of sites”. If anyone using your PC visits a non-trusted site, you need to enter the Advisor password to allow it.

I have a reg key that adds the File, Send To, Mail Recipient As Attachment. I use it quite often when setting up newly imaged Win XPWord 2003 PCs. If you want a copy, send me a reply with your email address and I’ll send it to you. Thanks.
