      Well I found it by accident really.
      I set up a query in txt format using Access, when I exported and closed the database, I was prompted whether I wanted Outlook to set a new daily task ??
      Obviously I accepted and it now runs every day !!

      It’s the first time I’ve seen this, but it is very useful.

      Hi John, thank you for your reply.

      The task does remind , but the query is run on aknowledgement of the task, not directly by the user.
      So all she does is complete the task, the rest is done by Access.

      I’ll have a look into automation thriugh Access direct, onceagain thanks.
