About
Been computing since DOS 3, began using Windows since its beginning. I started coding in Pascal and C right after college in the early 90s. I then went to work in a factory managing CNC robotic machines and starting to learn server management to host websites. Later I managed POS systems for a few auto salvage yards and implemented inventory control systems and processes. Built servers and networking infrastructure for them as well. I am currently retired (except for consulting a few IT clients). I have been following Fred Langa since the LangaLetter, Windows Magazine, Byte and others. I also have several old books from Bryan Livingston including Windows 3.1 Secrets from Info World. Among others. It is amazing just how far (and how complex), this field has become over the years. Fred and Brian and many more have helped me and thousands of others over the years to get a better grasp and help others use and troubleshoot these machines.
