Interest is calculated daily. The debtor pays whatever money he has whenever he can. So there isn’t a due date or payment schedule per se. I’ve added in the new few payments to the spreadsheet so you can see how it is looking. What I’m looking for is something that calculates the interest from the date of judgment to the date of payment. Then add that to the balance owing less the amount paid.

Reports will be sent to debtors advising them of what they owe after their last payment. Rather than calculate the interest manually and then add it to their outstanding balance, I thought it would be easier to write a formula but I don’t know how.

I have managed to create the macro. However I need to edit it a bit. I actually need it to insert a new row and only copy the formula of one cell (Column C). How do I do that?

You were right. The document was saved in our document management program Worldox, but when I save both versions to my desktop and renamed, the compare worked. Thanks!

1. The first part of the formula worked. Is there a way to count the number of cells in a range. Some of these cells are blank. I need to know the total number of cells between D14 and AS14.

2. Some of the cells have two results for example A M. In this case, the formula did not count the A or M. Is there a way to enter the text or write the formula to count these examples?
