      It may seem harsh, but to at least prevent use without someone around to monitor the culprit. Try using a BIOS password.

      I have used the Unofficial Service Pack on about 3 or 4 machines and i must say it is very nice. A great thing about it, is that it removes the limit on RAM.

      I use Maxthon when I need to use IE. Remember that Maxthon only uses the version of IE on your computer, no more no less. What I’m really baffled by is the statement that Firefox wouldn’t open enough tabs. I’ve had FF open 83 tabs at a time – never tried more – are you saying you need more than that?

      Perhaps it is the computer that will not allow you too open that many tabs… as i myself have had over 40+ tabs open at the same time doing research

      I realize this is an old post but why not since you have more then one hard drive and 98 is no longer supported, install xp on drive c and for the last and best updates on 98SE try the ” 98SE Unofficial Service Pack “
