Yes, you can add sugar to any dough recipe, including bread or bread rolls. The important thing is to let it rise, then knock it down and let it rise again. Of course this has to be done at room temperature, covered with a wet towel.

Bread flour here has lots of additives, I just use plain flower and I always use filtered water for baking (and making coffee). You’d be amazed about the difference between tap water dough and filtered water.

The other important part about making home pizzas is the temperature which should not be above 175 degrees Celsius (~345 degrees Fahrenheit). You want it to bake slowly so all the flavors can mix together yum

The more sugar you put into your dough mixture, the crustier it gets. However, as you increase the sugar, increase the yeast by a tenths as much and the rising time by 3 times.

In other words, if you add 10 grams of suger, add 1 gram of yeast and allow 3 more minutes for the dough to rise.

BTW, I always add some oregano and basil to the dough, gives it a nice background, so to speak smile

Request.ServerVariables(“SERVER_NAME”) returns “localhost” if you run it on your localhost.

      Hence, change

Not sure, in any case, I just wanted to get rid of it: Having had nothing but the operating system installed on a brand new computer, looking around the control panel and help files, it crashed twice on me for no aparent reason. So, I just rebooted and left it standing there, 20 minutes later, it crashed again.

Like others, I’ll wait at least a year before venturing near it. BTW, having installed XP on that PC, it’s worked perfectly ever since….

A few weeks ago I bought a new computer. I installed Vista on it, didn’t like it, decided to install XP Professional on it: The installation process aborted with the message “You are trying to install an older operating system” (or similar message, I don’t recall the exact wording). So, I booted off the XP CD and installed it that way.

This was on an empty hard disk, both Vista setup and XP setup insisted in formatting it. So, I’d say if you have any data on a Vista PC, make sure you have a complete backup before installing XP over it.

I’ve used Homesite for years, way before Adobe bought it, as well as Editpad Pro, both have the ability to do global search and replace. Editpad Pro is my editor of choice nowadays, mainly because it isn’t the typical bloat-ware and has the functionalities I’m after.

Instead of sending them elsewhere, you could just issue a 403 error.

      If InStr(“123.123.123.123 234.234.234.234” , Request.ServerVariables(“REMOTE_ADDR”) 0 Then
      Response.Status = “403 Access Forbidden”
      Response.Write Response.Status
      Response.End
      End If

Just change 123.123.123.123 234.234.234.234 into a single string of the five IP addresses you’ve got and add new ones as needed.

For detailed http header info see http://www.w3.org/pub/WWW/Protocols/rfc2068/rfc2068.txt%5B/url%5D

That won’t work, the redirect request has gotta come before the html header

We’re not talking javascript, we’re talking VBScript in ASP, no need for the stuff….

REMOTE_ADDR has to be in caps. (I think, but, in any case, seeing that REMOTE_ADDR is a constant, it stands out in the code if it is in caps)

      Redirect

      <body

      hope this helps,

Why don’t you just check for the IP address at the top of gb.asp thus:

Javascript can be overcome by bots, the above lines can’t.

    • in reply to: Snadboy revelation #1032898

I’ve had snadboy relevation on my emergency disk for years. It’s quick to install and is uninstallst cleanly. It simply changes the property of a password control so it can read the hidden password, thus allowing for a quick lost password recovery. It doesn’t read the windows password file, simply the form on the screen.

Newer software, concerned about security, have plugged that hole, so, relevation no longer works everywhere as it used to.

I use it all the time when upgrading customers computers, for example: most people never remember their email password. Relevation grabs the passwords for the email accounts, I move them away from Outlook Express onto a more secure client and setup the email acounts without having to make phone calls to the ISP to change passwords.

However, I always uninstall it when I finish the job.
