Thank you very much to both responders. The addin worked with the benefit of a graphical interface. The formula for conditional formatting also worked exactly as stated. I will puzzle over the formula to try to understand exactly how it works. dizzy The details in the help file were too minimal to even suggest how to do this.

      Thanks again.

It does take some time to setup, but it does do what he says it will do: Allow you to boot Windows XP as a live CD.

The setup process is not difficult and it does include a LOT of diagnostic tools that may help when booting into Safe mode is not possible.

Have you tried VCDEasy? http://www.vcdeasy.org/index.php%5B/url%5D I have used it in the past and the free version does make CD’s that play on a DVD player. The resolution of VCDs is not great, so the site also tells you how to hack a higher resolution SVCD onto a VCD. I am not sure whether the result will be compatible with your specific DVD player.

The free version available now looks like it is slicker than the version I used, but with more limitations on the result.

One option for the distorted logo in ClickBook is to resize the logo so that it is flatter. Then when printed through ClickBook the One-to-one option does not have to be used and the printout of the flattened logo will be round.

(Edited by HansV to make URL clickable – see Help 19)

This may not be what you want, but I have used the utility Clickbook for years. It scales the regular page to fit the different proportions of the side-by-side landscape. This means that the font is usually stretched slightly in height, however the result is that the top and bottom margins are similar to the sides.

      Here is the URL: http://www.clickbook.com[/url%5D

There are other utilities like this one available, but some that I have tried do not do the type of shrinking that I have described.

    • in reply to: Remove comment dates (Word XP) #887159

That code worked flawlessly and fast. I am not that familiar with the macro language, but I am guessing that this macro inserts a duplicate and then deletes the original, which leaves the comment with the present date. Given the other posts in the thread, it seems like the date in a comment cannot simply be deleted but only reset to the present. Is this correct?

      Thanks,
