Thats what I thought. I think I may have asked this question before.

I guess I’ll do the old Access trick. Create a Make-Table macro for the results and then base the report on that.

      Thanks again

      Thanks RG:

That works but I need to round it off.

I need to award 10 points for every 100.

      756 gives me 7 x 10 = 70 points

but 8,967 is giving me 896 instead of 890 points

      I quick thought:

I wanted to write code to say:

      If Box2 = =10000 then Box1(left (3) * 100 (ie… 15984 = 1590 Points)

I have already created 3 Update queries that I can run and give me the numbers, but its clunky….

      Thanks

      Here is another quick one:
I want to award 10 points for every $100 sold

      BOX1: enter amount (over 100)
      Box2: Box1/100 * 10

      ie: $4,689 = 46 * 10 = 460 Points

That was awesome. Thanks for the reply. While waiting, I actually searched for older POSTS that I have done and found the answer. Seems I asked a similar question before.

In any case I ended up using the same codes as you, but I did pick up the new SubTotal code you submitted so THANK YOU

we are both using the default Normal.docm.

I was able to map to her drive and copy her normal.docm and replace mine with hers, and mine still works.

I wil try and re-install the whole thing. She may have been upgraded from 2003 to 2007, while mine was probably a clean install.

      Thanks

This printer is on the network. She uses IP printing and it is in her Office so she is the only user printing to it.

I know you may suggest plugging it in locally, but that is not an option at this time. its is the way the office is setup and she is remote.

There is the same printer installed as a local printer so this satisfies the “dummy printer” suggestion.

      Thanks

I am sorry I skipped all the pertinent info.. Its been a while since I posted here and I am rusty…

but this actually means that I have been getting A LOT of answers from this site so I dont need to create new posts.

      That being said:

The Client is Outlook 2007, running on Windows XP

      The Server is Exchange 2007.

I will study the replies today.

      Thanks

Or, quite possibly, no one who has an answer has seen your post.

We’re all volunteers here and as such give what time we have. If you need an immediate answer perhaps you should pay a local professional to get one. But opinions may vary.

No thanks. You guys are the best. I guess I was spoiled because I use the MS Access Forums extensively and have gotten 150% support.

Sorry for this post. You guys are the greatest.

I recommend WOPR to all my friends… and a few enemies!

I guess no one is interested

    • in reply to: Cannot open/launch files from Windows Explorer #1157531

I ran SpyBot and I downloaded all the Patches.

Here is the UPDATE: WINDOWS EXPLORER may be the issue

I don’t know if the user waited long enough. I know I didnt.

So for a PDF File, i waited almost 90 Seconds for Adobe to launch and display.

WORD doc took 2 minutes. (Remember, if I use the START | RUN feature and put the file path it will work)

Windows Explorer: If I Rt-Click on a file it takes about the 2 minutes for the shortcut menu to pop up.

I cant try this on SafeMode because I am connected to this PC remotely.

If all fails I will have to have the persone send laptop back for a re-image. System restore will not load the past 5 restore points. I have tried as far back as 2 weeks ago.
