      Hi again

I’m not sure about the Bios Revision as all the Laptops are out on the road, so it will take some time to check them out, but I will start with the problem child first and check the power management. Incidentally talking of Bios Revision I have only tried this once with deadly consequences, is there a site where I could pick up decent instructions how to do this?

      Hi

Firstly the laptop is only 3 months old and the answer to the question is that it performs a proper shutdown just as if you clicked on the shutdown Icon

      Weird Eh

You have given me a bit to go at, I’ll give it a try

      Many thanks again

      Hi WyllyWylly

I have 128Mb of RAM I Don’t have anything as intesive as Photoshop on this particular machine, I think at the time I was opening Outlook.
I have the same RAM on the XP machine but I didn’t make a note of what I was running.

I don’t suppose this tells you much!

I have another machine at home which runs Windows XP Office XP, Photoshop, Flash MX, Photoimpact that has 512Mb RAM and I have the same size pagefile but touch wood I have never seen this message on that machine.

      Hi HansV

I like the sound of your last sentence, but have tried to do this by copy and past into a memo or tex box, but includes all the formating as characters.

Or am I doing it all wrong?

      Look forward to your reply
