Quite impressive, indeed. It’s good to see our U.S. Oil $$$ at work.

      it was an easy 10

An easy 10, but I agree with Stuart. Most other answers were silly.

      Hey Jezza,

I quit my 2-pack-a-day habit on June 7, 1987 after 31 years. Cold Turkey, I might add. Being around those that still smoke is irritating at best. They reek with that odor. I keep thinking that that was me and how disgusting I was to others. Keeps me going. Keep up the good work.

I think I found where to set the scale. The problem is finding the chart before it is output as a pdf. This will take some time. Thanks for the suggestion.

      Hi Hans,

I’m not sure how or where to set those.

Are you using tabbed view? If so, turn that off:

[*]Click the Office button.[*]Click Access Options.[*]Click Current Database in the left hand pane.[*]Clear the check box “Display Document Tabs”.[*]Click OK.

Thank you Hans. That did it.

    • in reply to: MS Access Application Shortcuts #1183911

Thanks Hans and Mark. I’ll try these Monday when I get back to work.

Changing the shortcut to open Access seemed to be the best solution, i.e.,

      “C:program filesMicrosoft OfficeOffice12msaccess.exe” “c:myfilesmydb.mdb”

      Thanks for all the suggestions

Thanks, Hans. I’ll give that a try and let you know.

Okay, the shortcut targets were fine. Some additional info on this. If I 2x the .mdb, nothing happens; If I begin MSAccess.exe, then open the .mdb, all is fine. Any other thoughts. This doesn’t happen on all my client’s computers.

    • in reply to: MS Access Application Shortcuts #1183624

Have you checked the target of the shortcuts? If they still point to the folder where Access 2002 used to be installed, they won’t work with Access 2007…

Thanks, Hans. I’ll give that a try and let you know.

    • in reply to: Lexmark In Britain #1182313

I moved away from Lexmark quite some time ago, I still have a perfectly good printer sat in the loft. I found that the machines are sold really cheaply, but the cartridges are one of the most expensive brands on the market. I assume this is a clever sales tactic Only my experience of course [duck].

When I bought my first PC back in 1995, I also purchased a Canon BJ200e printer. The little rascal is still printing. The quality of the documents is still good also. The ink cartridges are becoming more difficult to find, so when I find them, I buy quite a few.
