Word docx attachment replaced by HansV with the screenshot it contained

The margins are fine – I’ve taken all the steps listed in the link you provided – this is what I get when I try to insert page numbers

I guess that’s what’s happening – I get that little side panel thing with grayed-out words and that’s as far as I can go.

      Thank you all – again.

It works great for the first 6 headers – then I need to sort by two more – then it screws it all up! What am I doing wrong?

Have attached the file I need to sort – D through K

      Thank you!

Why do you keep expecting me to have a clue???? I get it – I’m the one who for years and years believed you could squeeze an electrical cord in two like a water hose and shut the electricity off –

I see now (said the blind man) – a .gif, by it’s very nature, is made of many frames, much like a cartoon –

      Sorry again

The .gif I want to insert only has one frame and it just sits there – INanimate!

Hi Hans – see my reply to Rory – same for you – great thanks and appreciation, as always.

    • in reply to: Divide by zero error (XP) #1107702

Perfect – I just changed the “” to 0 which is what I wanted in the first place – great thanks.

Nope – should have attached the example in the first place – sorry

    • in reply to: fixed versus round (XP) #1107513

Whew! I thought that was the case and I called my co-worked just in the nick of time to save her from my error – she need to know the difference ’cause she is the Payroll supervisor and would have really been angry (to say the least) if she had continued on with the “fixed” function instead of “round” and discovered – too late – that she could no longer apply any mathematical functions to those results!

Thank you thank you thank you for verifying my conclusion . . .

    • in reply to: Decimals (XP) #1106022

Thanks – I had no clue you could do that in Word – BUT

turns out just using the “fixed” function in Excel to change the numbers to text worked just fine . . . sooooooooooooo

      Thanks again for your help

That was much too easy – I actually thought of that but wasn’t smart enough to try it B4 posting . . . sigh – again.

      Have a great weekend

      Thank you

I assumed there was no way around this – thanks for confirming it for me. What about 2007? Did Microsoft address these little annoyances?

Thanks for the help, again . . .
