That’s not the problem – of course – attaching the actual portion of the worksheet this time – not a pretend version . . .

Apparently I forgot to mention the words that may or may not contain the word “lunch” are the result of a dropdown box – I’m guessing that’s why this formula won’t work – correct????

Sorry about the Word question – so far I really, really don’t like Office 2007!

As for the Excel question – what I asked was just stupid – you misunderstood (I think) – I wanted to know if you could use the fill handle to go from RIGHT to LEFT – but the answer to my question is yes, so I’m good to go.

Thanks again – BTW – did any of you feel the Iceland earthquake just a little while ago? Living in Southern California, I’m intensely interested (and scared to death) of earthquakes.

Thanks again, Hans – at least now I know that much! It also turns out my version of AutoCAD is so old it’s no longer supported so no help from them either.

Oh well – I’m retiring at the end of June so I guess I really don’t care as much now. I’ll still be needing the services of the loungers as I plan to continue to teach Excel so – you can’t get rid of me that easily!

You are soooooooooo good – scanned this article – recognized lots of words I’ve seen on my screen in Word 2007 attempting to insert page numbers (jeez! you’d think that would be a really, really academic feature, wouldn’t you? HA!) – Am leaving in a few so will try this remedy first thing tomorrow.
