AskWoody LoungerHi Paddles,
If you’re only interested in backing up files/folders, why not use Windows File History? It’s built in to both Win 8.1 & Win 10. And if the destination isn’t available it will automatically wait till it is then start backing up. Have you looked into that?

I’m not using any macros (I’m not sure I know how.) I was thinking the solution would be some sort of logic formula, IF(), AND(), etc. Is that not possible?
