Avast Free AV has a software updater, though it does try to slip in some PUPs depending on the software being updated.

The advantage of aTube Catcher is that it is entirely free and legal.

I’m personally not a stickler for legality when it comes to downloading music, but I’m about 99% certain this isn’t a viable legal option. From what I can tell you would use it to download videos and extract the music from them, or capture streaming music from a site such as Pandora or Last.fm.

Please explain.
