AskWoody LoungerIs this machine in the Windows Insider Release Preview Ring?
Do you have the TargetReleaseVersionInfo registry key?

AskWoody LoungerPK, you say “wait until Windows update checks for updates on its own” .
Does this mean that the Windows update service must be set to “Automatic” ?
If it’s on manual, the user have to click on “search for update”

work ?

AskWoody LoungerWhen Woody say to pause automatic updates, is it a general recommendation.
You said that pausing updates will cancel the “notify for download and install (2) ”
so why somebody should want to pause updates ?

AskWoody LoungerWin 10 1909, with KB4532693 installed and I never had the profile loging issue.
So that’s not the cause of the problem.
-
WSaltamirano
AskWoody LoungerI don’t have any of the issues mention in this update but I don’t want it
to stay forever on the windows update section so that’s why I was asking if it is safe to install and the topic didn’t answer the question.
