Do you have the TargetReleaseVersionInfo registry key?

      I am not  an insider.

About the “TargetReleaseVersionInfo registry key”, I don’t know what this is.

Why we shouldn’t install KB4559004 if it fix some bugs. It is usefull.

PK, you say “wait until Windows update checks for updates on its own” .

Does this mean that the Windows update service must be set to “Automatic” ?

If it’s on manual, the user have to click on “search for update”

But if we add this registry line in Win10 Home will it work like if we

had Group Policy set to ” (2) Notify, dowload, install”  ?

If someone has W10 Home and add the following line to the registry, will it

      work ?

When Woody say to pause automatic updates, is it a general recommendation.

You said that pausing updates will cancel the “notify for download and install (2) ”

so why somebody should want to pause updates ?

Win 10 1909, with  KB4532693 installed and I never had the profile loging issue.

So that’s not the cause of the problem.

I don’t have any of the issues mention in this update but I don’t want it

to stay forever on the windows update section so that’s why I was asking if it is safe to install and the topic didn’t answer the question.

Stupid question but just to know:

Let’s say Windows doesn’t boot at all or the HD or SSD is completly dead, are we

still able to open the CD tray by pressing on it’s open/close button ?
