      That’s it! Thanks Hans!

So, why did I have to do this process this time when I have used Outlook 2003 on a couple other machines and this step was not required?

      Thanks again,

      Andy

Here is an image of my Outlook Address Book tab. Everything is grayed out. I searched through all of the tabs and could not activate this form so that I could select the check box at the bottom of the form. Any other ideas on where I may have messed this up?

      Thanks,

      Andy

Thanks Hans, I noted that that works in my original post, I was wondering if there was any way to change what I have without copying the contents to a new file that I create using the template. It is not a big deal to do the copy, I was just trying to learn if there was something I was missing.

      Thanks again,

      Thanks John!

This is my machine, but it is in a large network where others can log in. The person that logged in was an IT person that was checking things out. Going into the Add-in Manager and activating Exchange Extension Commands solved the problem.

      Thanks again!

Are you logged into an exchange server mailbox? Are you using the mailbox or a pst as your delivery location? it only works on mailboxes.

Yes, I am logged into an echange server mailbox, and the mail is being delivered to the mailbox and not being forwarded to a pst file.

      Thanks

Bingo! Thanks Stuart, that solved both problems. The Keep with Next controls if that section will start on a new page or not. Very interesting – and the documentation had nothing that I could find on this 😉

      Thanks again,

      >When you look in task manager, how much memory is Outlook using?
It is using up to 99% – it depends on whether or not anything is there to challenge it. Since Zone Alarm Pro is gone, it is mostly up in the 97% or higher range.

      >When you leave it loaded over night, is it minimized to the taskbar or open full screen? Try minimizing it. Outlook should release a lot of memory.
I have done both. It does not run away until I start using it again the next day, or today it has run away 3 times right in the middle of the day. This problem existed with Outlook 2000 and now continues with 2002.

Are you using the IM feature?
      >I am using MSN IM, but nothing else. Is there an IM portion of Outlook?

      Thanks for the help!

    • in reply to: Deleted Items Folder in Personal Folder (Outlook 2000) #630305

I may have miss spoke the issue. This is a deleted items folder in a Personal Folders file. I know I can not delete the one up with Inbox, Task…, but I thought you could delete the one form a Personal Folders area?

      Thanks
