      Nothing happens. No errors, no drives get mapped. I did find out that if I change the .vbs script path to the original path in the batch file, I don’t get the error. Persistent connections was originally turned on, but now it’s somehow remembering the old path even though it doesn’t get mapped and persistent connections is turned off.

      No it’s being mapped in the computer settings. I think that it might have something to do with the path of the mapped drive being changed.

    • in reply to: Filter-by-Form in a subform (Access 2000) #694089

      Most of the fields in my subform are lookup fields. Is there a way to get the find/replace button to work in the subform. It works on the Main form but the find/replace button only finds subform records on the current main form record, not all main form records.

      I would like to restrict the main form to to records that have sub-records that match the criteria when I apply a filter to a field in the subform. This way I see the data in the main form and subform.

    • in reply to: Change row source for a combo box (2000) #675330

      You didn’t misunderstand me. I did want to know the proper syntax to designate a table as the row source. I was thinking that there was more to it than just the table name. I thought that I had to list the row in the table as well. The way I finally got it to work was:
      cboName.RowSource = “SELECT tblmodel.Model FROM tblmodel”
      I coppied the select statement from the row source in the properties and put it into the code. It took me a while to figure out that I needed to put quotes around the statement, though.
      Thanks for your help
