Not sure I understand. @PKCano’s post points to the three .NET patches for Win7 and 2008 R2. Those are the ones affected.

I should’ve mentioned that the re-releases were for Win7. I’ll make that change now.

I’ve never used userchrome.css.

I’ve done that occasionally, too.

Bottom line is that it isn’t part of the standard package that we’re using. It would cost a lot of money to fix it — and potentially introduce compatibility problems.

Sorry about that.

I’m still not ready to put Windows 10 version 2004 on my main machines. The “E Week” optional, non-security patch, KB 4577063, fixes two well-known bugs and many dozens of lesser bugs (none of which were officially documented, by the way) in the latest released version of Windows 10. @mikemeinz has hit several replicated bugs in Win10 version 2004, and bug reports continue to hit my inbox.

I ran across something about reverse lookup too but did not understand it.  The link you offered, I think, indicates it is probably happening with IPv4 and IPv6 and has to do with security at the IP address not my modem or internet service provider or browser.

I closed the thread because it was becoming political.

We’re still on MS-DEFCON 2 because there’s nothing in the September patches that warrants immediate action.

Let’s give it another day or two.

Yes. The bug is that Windows tries to RETRIM an HDD.
