I have had no issues with this new keyboard. I must have had a defective keyboard. End of post.

After extensive back and forth communication from Logitech. They determined that my keyboard was defective. So, I broke down and decided to buy a new keyboard/mouse combo like what I had. So far, I have had no issues with the new keyboard and/or mouse since I connected them up to my computer. Though the jury is still out. I am giving it some time before making a final determination.

My BIOS was last updated in 2023. Am I safe? I bought this Desktop from a computer store built to my specifications/

The computer in question isn’t connected to Wi-Fi directly. It is connected via ethernet to the Wi-Fi modem. If I were to be able to change the Wi-Fi channel. I don’t know how to do that. I have Metronet internet and basically everything is monitored through the eero app on my Smartphone. I don’t want to alter anything without not knowing how to get it back to were everything worked internet speaking wise.

The mouse works sporadically too. I have replaced the batteries in both the keyboard and the mouse. Though the batteries are about a year old but unused. The mouse I have less issues with though.

How do I determine the battery state from the driver? It states the device (keyboard) is working properly.

I am beginning to think that the huge antenna that transmits internet signals is interfering with my keyboard and mouse. Though the older batteries may be suspect too, come to think of it.

I suppose I could replace the batteries again. No, I don’t have another keyboard lying around to test. I’m not going to spend money on a new keyboard and mouse if the same thing happens again. It may be 2.4 GHz bandwidth in the area. There is a tower nearby that transmits internet signals. But I think that would be on all the time.

It is a Logitech wireless keyboard with wireless mouse combo.

No, I do not have another one to test.

In thinking back, I had similar issues when I had this same keyboard/mouse combo connected to my Win 10 computer. I should reach out to the manufacturer and see if they have a solution and/or send a replacement. If in fact that I have a defective keyboard.

I was able to successfully able to apply updates on my Win 11 Pro 24H2 laptop and my Win 11 Pro 23H2 Desktop without any issue. Be it noted that my laptop is an LG Gram 16 that has 24H2 preinstalled. It suffered no internet loss when updating. Thank heavens for that!

I have already embraced Windows 11 24H2 in a new laptop. There doesn’t seem to be much difference between 23H2 and 24H2. When I got this machine, I made sure that the local computer tech store had disabled CoPilot. Because I was unsure if the GPE method was the same in this version.

If I can be given any advice in what to look out for or modify. It would be helpful.

      Thanks.

I no longer need this forum. I have Windows 11 on both machines of mine.

I simply did as I asked. I restarted and they came back.

Thanks for the clarification on this matter.

I just updated both of my machines today. Does that include the security update from Aug 13th? If so, I am going to enable IPv6 after I disabled it a little while ago.

I use both wired and wireless connections. Does this mean that I have to disable it for each machine. Or can I disable it from my desktop pc? Furthermore, is it the same option for both wireless and wired connection? I didn’t quite fully understand how to disable it for my wireless connection. Lastly, did it matter that I did the update first before proceeding to disabling the IPv6?
