The popup no longer happens, so all is well thank you all. It was a malware, & MalwareBytes Anti Malware, found it repeated 9 times.

Thank you Paul, I have taken your advice, & “Malwarebyte” found 9 prob’s all of them to do with http://veryfast.io   which has to do with “app store by fast”. I’ll be watching to see my problem popup gone. I HOPE!!??%%#

I am going away in the morning, I will do that next week when I’m back,

The popup will show up with no browser active,  as long as I am on line.

Thanks that looks like a FIX we’ll see how it goes.

I can’t get my screenshot over to this reply. So I’ll tel you what what it looks like. top l/h corner has a SCAN GUARD simbel.
Then in large letters. YOUR COMPUTER IS NOT PROTECTED.
under that FIRWALL
MALWEAR etc.
SYSTEM
SPYWEAR

and at the very bottom “Prepaired by PC App Store etc.”

I must admit it does’nt say Microsoft Store.

I’ll check that out at the next ‘popup’. Susan.

I’m a real novice but let us see if that fix will stop me pulling my hair out. Thanks to everyone, but most of what you all say, I have to admire but goes right over my head.

It keeps overlaying adds which I have to delete to get on with what I’m trying to do. ??????
