How do you tell if you are using 572 drivers? Mine is listed as 32.0.15.5612 – and working as expected.

You can attempt to restore the backup to a spare disk / partition. Then you can wander through the files to see what is available.

I set my W11 laptop up using the standard manufacturer OOBE process. This gave me all the drivers and laptop apps so all worked without issue. Then I removed the most obviously annoying software, removed the disk encryption because I have a local account, installed my own apps (including Veracrypt) and then made an image.
