AskWoody MVPI’d make a new landscape page with 2 columns, then paste the page info into each column.

AskWoody MVPI set my W11 laptop up using the standard manufacturer OOBE process. This gave me all the drivers and laptop apps so all worked without issue. Then I removed the most obviously annoying software, removed the disk encryption because I have a local account, installed my own apps (including Veracrypt) and then made an image.

AskWoody MVPThere are already several workarounds listed above. All seem to work.
Here is a summary.cheers, Paul

AskWoody MVPProbably a 4GB disk then.
The manufacturers “cheat” by describing capacity in GiB not GB.

AskWoody MVPA few useful posts.
I set up Win11 Pro 24H2… Used the “for Work or School” option in the setup… No hassle trying to use the Local ID.
Here’s a new one I just read about in PCWorld newsletter:
Press: Shift+F10
Type: Start ms-chx:localonly
Follow the prompts to create a local user. Setup continues normallyreg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OOBE /v BypassNRO /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
shutdown /r /t 0
You could just type those two commands into the Command Window yourself.cheers, Paul

GnuCash and NerdWallet are free, after that it’s whatever works at a price you are prepared to pay. Even MS have free Excel sheets and there are plenty of Google ones.

AskWoody MVPComputer technology will be used to enforce the prohibition of buying or selling without the mark
By “mark”, you mean money? It has ever been thus.

AskWoody MVPUntil they legalise drug X, then they will need to update all the detectors….
