Works on satellite orbits, GPS positioning, space geodesy, in projects of NASA, US Navy, government and university groups in the USA, Europe, Japan -- besides those projects of his own. Develops, out of necessity, as often none is either commercially or otherwise available, software for engineering and scientific applications needed for his work. This is not unusual in the professional circles he belongs to. He is in none of the popular social networks, as he prefers to keep his own life as private as possible. After close to 22 years using Windows, from 98 through 7, after 7's EOL, he now has shifted to macOS and Linux, keeping Windows 7 Professional no longer updated and off the Internet, but where he still runs some applications and has a lot of useful files at hand, to be used when needed. He is not an early adopter of anything and still uses a clam-shell phone. Also, having worked for the most part in places where there has always been someone knowledgeable in charge of taking care of this, he is most adverse to messing around with the OS on his own.
