AskWoody LoungerFebruary 19, 2017 at 4:01 am in reply to: Integrating updates using "group-b" model, is possible? #95629@ Jayendra
Maybe, someone should share his/her Win 7/8.1 iso that hv been slipstreamed with the latest important updates.is complicated, for example, i use firefox but still install IE 11 patchs, others even try to install another version except the one integrated in the windows dvd (the 9 i think..).

AskWoody LoungerFebruary 18, 2017 at 2:46 pm in reply to: Integrating updates using "group-b" model, is possible? #95471all the updates (from 2011 to 2017) i can slipstream in a single dvd-image right now =) i have 199 updates ready for integrate.
my problem (maybe is just me) is when i use group-b method: the size of the file (the image dvd and how much space use in the hard disk) is about 300mb to 800mb more than group-a, and it’s only in dvd, in hard disk is more space.
maybe don’t sound so hard now, but when time passes, more size is growing so more space take in the hard disk, in sxs, etc and we can’t clean because microsoft don’t mark any security only as superseded.
well that i suppose n.nU

AskWoody LoungerFebruary 15, 2017 at 9:06 pm in reply to: 3000003: Firefox – additional security, telemetry and privacy tweaks #94587The top two security tweaks are the most important LOGJAM & POODLE even if they are set correctly without changing them, it’s better to check anyway.
thanks for the advise n.n/
i’m using FF ESR and logjam “problem” is present, now is fixed (yeah).
(somebody maybe ask… why im using esr? it’s because i feel more stable tan “normal” version) -

AskWoody LoungerNaw. I use Office 2007 on some computers, too. It isn’t the fanciest, but it’ll do. Office 2007 support ends on October 10, 2017 – until then, Microsoft will keep up with security patches, which is really all you need.
Unless you see a feature in Office 2010, 2013 or 2016 that you really want, there’s no reason to jump ship.
Thanks for the answer =)!

AskWoody LoungerHello =)
First, thanks for the info!
Second, i have a little question: office 2010 or 2007 is obsolete now? from December we don’t receive updates (and i don’t think because it’s “secure rock-solid code”, sorry microsoft). Maybe it’s time for update to office 2013? im still using office 2010 and is pretty good for my works n.nAnd thanks for the hard work =)!
