We live in Pinellas County Florida and also have a home in Blowing Rock, NC. Both locations were hit hard by Hurricane Helene with Florida also gettingslammed by Milton. We had no internet for days in FL and weeks in NC. With on-line only accounting apps I would have been completely shut down.

Apparently Wyze has a similar issue. Someone can steal your camera, initialize it on a new account and you lose the history in your PAID cloud account. Great “security”!

Used your ComputerWorld article to defer my Win10 1903 updates and was able to defer 35 days rather than the 21 days shown in the article.

Don’t install KB4074805 if your running Quickbooks 2018 Pro Desktop. Had to uninstall .NET and reinstall 4.71 to get QB running again.

“Microsoft released preview update KB4074805 for .NET Framework which appears to have caused the error “QuickBooks has stopped working” when opening QuickBooks.   Intuit and Microsoft are working together to resolve this issue.  Sign up below to be updated when there is a resolution.  In the meantime you can talk to your IT professional and uninstall the Preview update KB4074805.”
