Out of state inter-library loan books cost your local library  a lot of money to obtain a hard copy book for you.  Try to  view it online or even buy the book cheaply  from Amazon or E Bay to save your small local library  money.

Tax payer funded state university libraries allow citizens to use their facilities but I don’t know what services are provided.  Naturally students, faculty and staff obtain library cards.

It’s so bad the corner mail boxes are disappearing. I take my letters with checks and deposit them INSIDE the post office not even the outside drive up ones which are getting broke into at night.   The safest way is you shouldn’t be getting a refund.  The other year we had 8.7 %  inflation.   When i write a check I use the Uni-Ball Signo 207 anti fraud gel pen.  The  check thieves can’t wash the check.

With the IRS now weaponized plus 87,000 new IRS employees just hired;  it’s time to pay the piper and use a CPA.  For small enterprise  owners have an attorney on stand by.

Yep, I purchased an item online for the convenience of not having to drive to my local store. Guess what I never received the item.. Ebay never made me whole because of their arcane rules on their “Money back guarantee.”

    • in reply to: Making the world safe for online shoppers #2645215

I found out Ebay has limitations  in small print with their “money back guarantee” when vendors fail to send the item you purchased.   The vendor after the sale changes the delivery time .  Ebay only allows 30 days after the sale.   Once the vendor extends the time past the 30 days Ebay will no longer give you your money back. Don’t purchase any thing that  is going to take longer then 30 days to deliver.
