Had no idea what I wanted to do for a living until sophomore year of high school. I got a TI-55 programmable calculator and said I want to do THIS. Went from there to an Apple IIe, then moved to MS-DOS 3 and GW-BASIC. Used the Microsoft PDS in development of a niche application that ran on Btrieve when it was part of Novell. Then to Windows 3.0 and Visual Basic 1.0 when it came out. Worked on Windows as a platform for years, but Windows as I knew it has come to an end. I dabbled in Linux (Ubuntu/Mint) before switching to Apple.
