Update to 22H2 is made.  A pop up arrived asking me to update.  Ran it and 22H2 is now installed.

The note in Updates that “Some setting are managed by your organization”  is still there.  I would like to make that go away so I can run updates normally.

Thanks so much.  Change made.  I’ll reboot and see what happens.

I hope the note that an admin had to do it goes away.

Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately I don’t see any of the things in my Group Policy Editor you mention.  Here’s a screen shot.  Am I in  the right place?

I know that I did not use “In Control.’  It had to be some registry change that I saw in this newsletter back then.

When I his the ‘View Configuration Update Policies link,’ all I get is the following:

“Policies for your Device: Target Release Versions for your device:

Source: Administrator

Type: Group Policy

Target versions for future updates

Source: Administrator

Type: Group Policy’ ”

If I knew which Group Policy to change I’d give it a try there.

I still think it’s something I changed in the Registry.

I have clicked on Update now button.  Except for a few dots going across the screen a few times, nothing happens.

There is no indication that any file has been downloaded.

I agree that I must have used a registry setting to keep me on 21h1.  But I have no idea where that would be or what to do to reset it so update will work.
