and
Wife and I are way behind the times compared to most of you guys. I use my Alienware desktop hardwired for a specific online multiplayer flight sim combat scenario out of Europe been playing for years and mod my machine with updated hardware until some day I will buy another more current gaming machine. My wife uses my router’s server wi-fi app for her Android hand-held to play her games and e-mails throughout the house. We don’t do wi-fi outside the house… yet.
We don’t do any money matters online, anywhere, related to our banking institution. We do the online money transactions another way.

AskWoody LoungerSeptember 6, 2017 at 12:11 pm in reply to: Keizer: Win7 is sticking around more than XP did in its final years #132482My Alienware Aurora R-3 came with Windows 7 Pro (64-bit) I use mostly for a flight sim out of Russia and modding the game/sim. I will keep Win 7 as long as I can, then probably get a new gaming PC with whatever latest Windows version is out there at that time. I have upgraded and rebuilt this machine a few times over the years, it still does the job for me. The only thing holding my PC back is my motherboard is only good for 16GB RAM and that already limits me now.

AskWoody LoungerWoody,
No problem on my side, though have been off my PC last few days due to gaming sim burnout…
Patched up my Win 7 Pro 64-bit with your March 2017 patch link.
Went a bit long, but successful.
Thank You!

Would doing a repair just fix this issue or do I risk reverting back 7 years to my original fresh installation and lose my files and such stuff?

I have read previously this may be the culpret. In a flight sim I play with right clicking the mouse works just fine.
I will buy a brand new mouse identical to its buttons setup and change it out to see if there is a difference.
Thanks

Control Panel\Taskbar and Start Menu\Start Menu\Customize
Check the box “Enable context menus and dragging and dropping”
Click OK
Click ApplyYes, had this already setup as you have described.
Thanks, anyway
