AskWoody PlusGary,
I agree with Alex; also, if you look at each folder’s Properties, are you using “size,” or “size on disk“??

AskWoody PlusAugust 20, 2024 at 9:59 am in reply to: Need advice on putting backup from my desktop onto my laptop #2697973Bob,
Power supply failures are not that uncommon. It’s a good idea to have an (inexpensive) power supply tester. I’ve got one from Antec. You simply plug in the main motherboard connector to the tester and “power-up.”

AskWoody PlusAugust 7, 2024 at 11:12 am in reply to: Macrium FREE v8 How to view past images files to ensure PC files are there?! #2694101Deo,
This is the reason all drives in use should have a LABEL along with their letter (e.g., [C:]System), because of this sort of drive letter switching during a restore.

AskWoody PlusYou might want to check that all your memory sticks are firmly seated. Perhaps that was the problem which you solved by your use of the “11-inch solution.”

AskWoody PlusHammer,
?Are you sure your upload speed is limited to 25 GB/min? I just measured mine (pretty fast downloads) at 0.31 GB/min.

CMD (admin) parroted the command
Powershell (admin) returned the location prompt
