AskWoody LoungerGood question I use AOMEI and i was hoping it would also restore chrome back the date on the backup. the problem is the back up is a month old.
Any ideas on the system restore? i have a restore point from yesterday.

AskWoody LoungerI also think these bugs affect a very small portion of windows 10 users.
But Ed Bott disagrees. according to him ALL Windows 10 Billion users suffer from bugs :
“Microsoft, stop feeding bugs to a billion Windows 10 users.”Alex i get what ed is trying to say. does windows 10 have bugs yes. All operating systems including Microsoft, apple, linux and android all have bugs. i think the object is to have those bugs affect as few people as possible. In that respect considering the hundreds of millions of people that run win10 i think microsoft does a good job.

AskWoody LoungerWell said bbearren. I also think these bugs affect a very small portion of windows 10 users. I have never had any problems with windows 10 Feature or cumulative updates except for 1 problem that was easily fixed with a back-up

AskWoody LoungerAs with bbearren the only bug i can confirm is the fresh start.
And as far as drivers i can’t recall any time that Windows 10 has ever offered me any driver updates.

AskWoody LoungerJune 10, 2020 at 1:44 pm in reply to: Further evidence of forced upgrade to Win10 version 2004, possibly due to a “Pause updates” bug #2271310Woody maybe i am wrong but i thought that was the way its supposed to work. You basically have 3 options now
Use the pause option and whenever the pause ends it would automatically install all updates
Never hit check for updates and you will never get updates
Or like me always install all updates as soon as they are available
I dont use it and i know in reading about it it was very confusing but that was my impression. Not saying its good or bad just the way i thought it was supposed to work.
