Zoom function in Word 2013

Hi all

I’m using Word 2013 at home and 2016 at work and rarely, whenever reopening a document, the slider switch (near the time display) adjusts itself resulting in enlarged/minimised text – with both versions. Does anyone know the secret to locking the slider in at a preferred setting?
