I subscribe to a couple of magazines on line, and both use the Zinio Reader. Now I have had this for a little over a year with really no problems. I got a new magazine the other day and went to open it this morning. When I did there was a notification that I needed to download Zinio Reader 4, but there was no link to it. I Bing’d it and found the reader, downloaded and installed it, and the magazine showed Ok. Well come to find out none of my previous editions to that mag. were downloaded. I searched through their “help” and found this:If your previous subscriptions don’t download, then you need to uninstall Zinio Reader 4 (yea the latest) and install the Zinio Reader 4 Beta with Adobe Air. WTH!… Now, I uninstalled Zinio Reader 4 using Revo. I looked at my desktop and there are two shortcuts to Zinio still showing. I right clicked on them and was politely told that I could not delete them saw the path, and went to that directory, and they aren’t there. I did a search for Zinio and found a number of locations, but could not delete them from there either. So now how do I get rid of the desktop shortcuts? I have already done a system restore but that didn’t do any good.
Is anyone else having this problem with Zinio?

Well, I ended up calling Zinio’s office in San Fran, and they were quite aplogetic. We did get it working, they knew they had created a mess.

I just started with Zinio and started with Zinio Reader 4. Since I have not had any previous magazines through the digital route, I have not had the problem you mention. I do find Reader 4 easy to use with good graphics. Glad you worked out the problem.
