Your resource Desktop.xxxxx is now offline

I’m running Vista x64 SP2 and occasionally I get a pop-up that says “Your resource Desktop.xxxx is now offline”. Nothing seems negatively impacted when this happens but I am curious about it. I’ve Googled the thread title and used it as a search string in this forum and got no hits. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Are you syncing with any phone device?

What kind of hardware do you have?

Is Vista in a virtual machine?

Any special application software?

I have exactly the same problem for years, even after a complete rebuild.
HP Pavillion DV-7 Win7 iTunes/iPhone, no VM
