You Tube download failure

Hi….. Of late I find that I am unable to download videos from You Tube, seems to coincide with the time I started having trouble with Java Script errors -that I inquired about on 17th August. See screen shot of error message. What might be the cause & are there any settings that need to be reset to restore this handy feature? Regards Dave.

Unless I’m mistaken, the downloader states it will allow (you) to download any video from YouTube, but the URL you have in “Enter Video URL” field is not at YouTube…

It is NOT Java, see the last line in the System listing at http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/

It is a link to the VB files that need to on your machine.

Thanks Gents…. for putting me right on this matter, though I was attempting to download a video -the source of which IS in fact You Tube – the link to it is on another web site. I was unaware that one had to be actually logged on to You Tube to perform such an operation. I have just logged on it and the download went ahead without a hitch. Thanks again Dave.
