Since approx 1997 I’ve been Signing in to Rocketmail (RM); now incorporated into YahooMail (YM) by mail address + password, both stored in Firefox Passwords.
Recently, every sign in via a Firefox browser shortcut, I have to go through a process of entering a four character code sent to another mail service “to finish signing in”.
Perhaps AskWoody users can advise:-
1. Is this a recent change to RM/YM login?
2. Has my trial of ‘New Outlook’ for Windows 10/11 Created a problem with RM/YM?
3a. Has a recent update to Firefox caused the problem?
Or
3b. Is a Firefox setting the cause?
BtW, I’ve reverted ‘New Outlook’ to the original version
4.ย How can I assure RM/YM that there is nothing wrong with my account?
5.ย How can I “clean Up” the RM/YM Account?
