    Windows XP SP3
    MS Office Professional Plus 2007

    I have two installs. On my PC, when I click on the Office Button and then click File | New I get the New Document window with all the templates on the left side as a list:
    Blank & Recent
    Installed Templates… etc…

    and a break: Microsoft Office Online (in bold), then listed:
    Featured
    Agendas
    Awards…. etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    On the Problem PC. When I click on the Office Button and then click File | New I get what looks like the Office 2003 New Document windows and its old Templates.
    Does anyone know if there is a setting for this? I have compared both installations in the Control panel, Add&Remove section and we both have the same MS Office software options installed.
    Thank you
      If you have identical templates in both the workgroup location and the individual pc’s location, Word will always default to the templates on your pc. In other words, if you have updated xyz.dot in the workgroup location, but not on your pc, Word will always default to the older version on your pc.
      we are both using the default Normal.docm.
      I was able to map to her drive and copy her normal.docm and replace mine with hers, and mine still works.
      I wil try and re-install the whole thing. She may have been upgraded from 2003 to 2007, while mine was probably a clean install.
      Thanks
