Word Minimizes on opening (Word 97)

Word has suddenly started minimizing to the taskbar on opening and it is driving me crazy. Does anyone know how to stop this happening?

Right-click the shortcut you’re using to start Word.
From the popup menu, select Properties.
Near the bottom of the Properties dialog, you can select whether the program starts Minimized, Maximized or Normal. It’s caption is “Run” on my system, but it might be different in another OS version. Does this say Minimized? If so, change it.
