    Hi,

    I have a peculiar problem:

A document functioning as a template, but not containing any macro, suddenly increase the file size to more than a Mb from 50 kb, and even further insertion of text can increase the file size to 7 Mb.

The document used has a first page containing some field codes, like title, author and last-saved-date.
When removing this page the size reduces to normal size, like 50-200 kb, depending on the content.

Anyone who can tel me why it increases to drastically in size?

(The document is collected through a http: address)

    Best regards
    Bj

      Some ideas:

Have you checked whether Track Changes is on while tracked changes are not being displayed?

Has the Fast Save option (Tools/Options…) inadvertently been turned on?

If you display Field codes, do you see fields containing an extraordinary amount of information?
